21 April - Waterloo Film Night at Old Market Hall, Shrewsbury
Join us for a Napoleonic-themed evening at the Old Market Hall cinema in Shrewsbury for the screening of the 1970s epic Waterloo. Guests will
be wined and fed with Napoleonic fodder and will be briefed on the battle of
Waterloo before the start of the film. Tickets are £25 each and available at

. All proceeds will go to support the Regimental Museum at Shrewsbury Castle.
21 May - The Shropshire Regiments Sponsored Trail, Richards Castle
A walk in aid of the Shropshire Regimental Museum.
the trail takes place on Sunday 21 May
and is once again based on the Vallets, Richard’s Castle, Ludlow, SY8 4ET. This is the sixth year we have used this
location, set on the beautiful borders of south Shropshire and north
Herefordshire. Views extend from the Brecon Beacons to the Malvern’s and Clee
Hill. As last year, there will be a variety of circular walks to suit all ages
and abilities –7 miles, 4 miles, and 1 mile. The longer route takes you through
the beautiful private estate of Gatley Park, home of Sir Thomas & Lady Dunn. For more information or to book onto the trail please contact the Museum.
